Regular Season Round 35: Rouen - Fos-Provence 79-85

ProB top team - Provence Basket (22-10) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fourteenth ranked SPO Rouen (11-16) 85-79. Provence Basket made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for American-German guard Kevin McClain (190-96, college: Belmont) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 7 assists. American point guard Jamar Diggs (190-88, college: Wofford, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 15 points and 7 assists. Guard Marcus Gomis (184-0) responded with 21 points and guard Benoit Injai (186-97) scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Provence Basket and four SPO Rouen players scored in double figures. Provence Basket maintains first place with 22-10 record. SPO Rouen lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Provence Basket will play against Quimper UJAP (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SPO Rouen will play against Nantes (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
