Semi-Finals Game 4: Stjarnan - Thor Thorl 78-58

Stjarnan defeated Thor Thorl to force decider in the semifinal series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-58. Stjarnan had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward AJ Brodeur (206-96, college: Pennsylvania) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. The former international point guard Aegir Steinarsson (185-91, college: Newberry, agency: Duran International) contributed with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Stjarnan players scored in double figures. International Styrmir Thrastarson (200-1) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Larry Thomas (185-93, college: BSC, agency: SDJ Sports) added 15 points in the effort for Thor Thorl. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
