Semi-Finals Game 1: Eleftheroupoli - Marousi 102-106

Marousi outlasted Eleftheroupoli in overtime to secure A2 playoffs Finals berth. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Eleftheroupoli won fourth quarter 22-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Marousi forced 30 Eleftheroupoli turnovers and outrebounded them 47-32 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Yannis Gagaloudis (192-78) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists for the winners and point guard Orfeas Stasinos (183-88) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Marousi's coach Giorgos Skarafingas used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Giannis Dimakos (192-94) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Alexandros Raptis (200-81) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Marousi and five Eleftheroupoli players scored in double figures.
