Tortona punched the last ticket into Serie A for the next season. They nipped Torino in the decisive fifth game of the series to gain promotion. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Point guard Bruno Mascolo (190-96, agency: Players Group) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and American guard Jamarr Sanders (193-88, college: UAB) chipped in 17 points. Point guard Alessandro Cappelletti (186-95) responded with 22 points and 7 assists and naturalized Senegalese power forward Ousmane Diop (205-0) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Torino players scored in double figures.
