Olympiacos B secured A1 promotion. They beat Marousi in the playoffs Finals to sweep the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 29-23. But Marousi won second period 21-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Olympiacos B won last quarter 27-23. They made 33-of-37 free shots (89.2 percent) during the game, while Marousi only scored fifteen points from the stripe. 30 personal fouls committed by Marousi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Apollonas Tsochlas (189-83) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists for the winners and guard Alexandros Nikolaidis (190-2) chipped in 22 points. At the losing side point guard Orfeas Stasinos (183-88) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and center Emmanouil Chatzidakis (205-0) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
