The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Groningen on the court of Leeuwarden on Friday night. Visitors were edged by Leeuwarden 81-80. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard George Brock (183-95, college: SUNO) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import forward Ryan Logan (200-94, college: Stonehill) contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Brock is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leeuwarden is looking forward to face Feyenoord in Rotterdam in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
