Regular Season Round 2: Zwolle - Den Bosch 49-65

One of the most interesting games of round 2 was a derby match between two teams from Holland. Den Bosch won against host Zwolle 65-49. They outrebounded Zwolle 45-32 including 36 on the defensive glass. Finnish point guard Edon Maxhuni (188-98, college: LBSU) scored 15 points to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Mike Carlson (206-91, college: Truman St.) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Den Bosch's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Ralf De Pagter (202-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Naba Echols (180, college: NMU) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Den Bosch will meet Leeuwarden on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Zwolle will play against BAL Weert and hope to win that game.
