Regular Season Round 3: Leeuwarden - Den Bosch 83-90

One of the most interesting games of round 3 was a derby match between two teams from Holland. Den Bosch won against host Leeuwarden (1-2) 90-83. Den Bosch looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Finnish point guard Edon Maxhuni (188-98, college: LBSU) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 5 assists. Guard Shane Hammink (201-94, college: Valpo) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. American point guard George Brock (183-95, college: SUNO) came up with 21 points and 4 assists and point guard Jose Maconda (183-1) added 11 points respectively for Leeuwarden in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Den Bosch will meet Den Helder (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leeuwarden will have a break next round.
