The game with biggest result difference took place in Kharkiv. Local K.Sokoly (1-2) outscored Zaporizhye (0-2) 78-54 on Sunday night. The game without a history. K.Sokoly led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. K.Sokoly forced 20 Zaporizhye turnovers. Strangely Zaporizhye outrebounded K.Sokoly 40-26 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Mike Davis (193-96, college: Queens, NC) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Dajuan Graf (185-92, college: NCCU) helped adding 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four K.Sokoly players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Daeshon Francis (193-96, college: UTPB) with 17 points and Lithuanian power forward Antanas Udras (203-92, agency: BIG) scored 6 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. K.Sokoly will meet Kyiv Basket (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zaporizhye will play against Budivelnyk (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
