But Salou was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Zaragoza 83-78 on Sunday night. It was an exceptional evening for guard Lucas Langarita (192-5) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Center Aday Mara (218-5) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Olivar players scored in double figures. American forward CJ Barksdale (203-92, college: Virginia Tech) came up with 21 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Artur Alaminos (202-91) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Salou in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Olivar will meet at home Sant Cugat (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Salou will play against Barbera (#7) in Barcelona and hopes to get finally their first victory.
