Regular Season Round 1: Aros - Hammarby 109-71

Aros smashed Hammarby at home 109-71. Aros dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Hammarby's 38. Aros forced 20 Hammarby turnovers and outrebounded them 50-26 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Hammarby's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Oskar Ekh (190-99) who helped to win the game recording 46 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Simon Wahlberg contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Aros' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Michael Saladin (183-98, college: OLLU) answered with 25 points and 4 steals and guard Leonard Cooks (190-92) added 21 points in the effort for Hammarby. Hammarby will play next round against Hogsbo 2 trying to get back on the winning streak. Aros will try to continue on its current victory against Djurgarden at Stockholm.
