An interesting game for MBK (4-0) which hosted in Ruzomberok Young Angels (1-2). MBK managed to get a 10-point victory 73-63. MBK forced 21 Young Angels turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Miroslava Prazenicova (184-97) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Marte Grays (188-96, college: DePaul) accounted for 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Valerie Higgins (185-98, college: Pacific, agency: LBM Management) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import center Channon Fluker (193-97, college: CSUN) added 18 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Young Angels in the defeat. Young Angels' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MBK will meet SK UMB BB (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Young Angels will play against Slovan B. in Bratislava and hope to win that game.
