Regular Season Round 4: Levallois - Gravelines 72-65

The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Metropolitans as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket) loss. Metropolitans defeated 6th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque in Levallois 72-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gravelines-Dunkerque. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds and Israeli Tomer Ginat (202-94, agency: Avi Zilberman) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Metropolitans players scored in double figures. Metropolitans' coach Vincent Collet allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Marcquise Reed (190-95, college: Clemson, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 15 points. Metropolitans have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 5 other teams. Gravelines-Dunkerque at the other side dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play next round against SIG Strasbourg trying to get back on the winning streak.
