Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Horsens IC made 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Khalil Ahmad (191-96, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Bakir Serdarevic (193-0) who added 19 points during the contest. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Jordan Dallas (208-97, college: Seattle) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and forward Magnus Bjornaa (195-96, college: Potomac St.) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsens IC (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Copenhagen. It was Amager's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Horsens IC is looking forward to face higher ranked Vaerlose (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Amager will play against the league's second-placed Svendborg (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
