Regular Season Round 4: Radom Kolejarz - Pisz 101-82

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Radom Kolejarz (1-3) outleveled at home higher ranked Pisz (1-2) 101-82 on Saturday. Radom Kolejarz dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Pisz's 44. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Pisz's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Maciej Parszewski (195-94) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 9 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) and Mateusz Zweglinski (194-94) who added 24 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Radom Kolejarz players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Jan Switaj (201-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and guard Mateusz Bessman (184-99) scored 18 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Radom Kolejarz left bottom position moving up to eleventh place in Group B, which they share with 3 other teams. Pisz at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with two games lost. They share it with Legionowo and Legia 2. Radom Kolejarz will meet higher ranked Hutnik W-wa (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Pisz will play against Ostrow Mazow. (#12) and hope to win that game.
