Regular Season Round 2: Rilski - Levski 88-69

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Levski Lukoil in Samokov on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Rilski 88-69. Rilski outrebounded Levski Lukoil 44-31 including a 36-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Aleks Simeonov (200-93) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Trey Porter (208-96, college: Nevada) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Rilski's coach Ludmil Hadjisotirov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rilski is looking forward to face Yambol on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Levski Lukoil will play against Chernomorets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
