The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Obradoiro S. as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A-B. Obradoiro S. defeated 5th ranked La Flecha in Santiago de Comp 80-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of La Flecha. Obradoiro S. forced 21 La Flecha turnovers. Santiago Paz Vazquez (-3) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and Sergi Huguet (194-2) chipped in 16 points. Guard Millan Lopez (185-94) responded with 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Pablo Martin (199-1) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Obradoiro S. (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Porrino. La Flecha at the other side keeps the fifth place with two games lost.
