Very expected game in Yuzhny where 8th ranked Zaporizhye (3-5) was defeated by third ranked Khimik (6-2) 73-64 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-64. Khimik dominated on the defensive end, holding Zaporizhye to just 5 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was American forward Christian Jones (201-93, college: UNLV, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds.
