Undefeated Naestved (4-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by leader Bakken (3-0) 89-85. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Naestved. American point guard Marvelle Harris (196-93, college: Fresno St., agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import center Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Bakken's coach Anders Sommer allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Burkinabe-American Bubu Palo (185-91, college: Iowa St.) answered with 20 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Brevin Pritzl (191-96, college: Wisconsin, agency: GoEmpire Group) added 23 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Naestved. Five Bakken and four Naestved players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bakken. Defending champion maintains third place with 3-0 record having 2 victories less than leader Svendborg. Naestved at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Bakken will play against Copenhagen (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Naestved will play against the league's leader Svendborg (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
