Regular Season Round 6: Tur Bielsk Pdl. - Pisz 99-69

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (4-2) crushed 13th ranked Pisz (1-5) in Bielsk Podlaski 99-69 on Saturday. Tur Bielsk Pdl. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Pisz's 30. Tur Bielsk Pdl. forced 23 Pisz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Pisz's players. Aaron Weres (196-91) notched 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Michal Szwedo (200-97) supported him with 17 points. Even 18 points by point guard Szymon Cwiklinski (183-98) did not help to save the game for Pisz. Szymon Urbanski (194-99) added 20 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tur Bielsk Pdl. moved-up to fifth place in Group B, which they share with Hutnik W-wa. Pisz lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Piaseczno. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will meet Hutnik W-wa (#5) in the next round. Pisz will play against MKS Ochota (#10) and hope to win that game.
