Regular Season Round 4: Tornado KM - RasKKSC 78-58

No shocking result in a game in Kaunas where eighth ranked Tornado KM (2-2) smashed bottom-ranked RasKKSC (0-4) 78-58 on Sunday. The game without a history. Tornado KM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to RasKKSC's 30. Tornado KM forced 19 RasKKSC turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marius Mazeika (188-5) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and guard Modestas Jasinauskas (190-4) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Tornado KM players scored in double figures. Tornado KM's coach Donatas Mikulevicius allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side guard Tauras Karabinas (190-5) responded with 16 points and 8 assists and point guard Augustinas Brazas (184-4) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Tornado KM moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Panevezio and SKM II. Loser RasKKSC still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Zalgiris I and Saule. Tornado KM will meet at home Panevezio (#6) in the next round. RasKKSC will play against Saule (#11) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
