Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked PVSK-Veolia (4-3) beat on the road 9th ranked Sopron KC (2-4) 76-70 on Sunday. American point guard Samajae Haynes-Jones (183-96, college: Wichita St.) fired 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. Serbian center Veljko Brkic (206-95) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Teyvon Myers (188-94, college: WVU) produced 29 points and the other American import forward Quincy Ford (203-93, college: Northeastern) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Sopron KC's coach Branislav Dzunic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. PVSK-Veolia moved-up to fourth place, which they share with DEAC and OSE Lions. Sopron KC lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with four games lost. PVSK-Veolia will meet Kormend (#7) on the road in the next round. Sopron KC will play against Alba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
