Rather predictable result in Ankara where Turkish Turk Telekom (2-1) beat Polish WKS Slask (0-3) 89-73 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 49-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Turk Telekom made 8 blocks. His fellow American import JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Travis Trice II (183-93, college: Michigan St.) with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Guyanese forward Cyril Langevine (203-98, college: URI, agency: BeoBasket) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom will meet Joventut (#5) in the next round.
