Regular Season Round 10: Kaysersberg - Pont-de-Cheruy 60-66

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked SOPCC and 9th ranked Kaysersberg had identical 4-5 record. But Kaysersberg was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Pont de Cheruy 66-60 on Friday night. SOPCC dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kaysersberg's 28. Point guard Bryan Coudray (189-0) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Mali guard Ludovic Chelle (186-83) chipped in 14 points during the contest. SOPCC's coach Dounia Issa allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side guard Yanik Blanc (188-99) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Maxence Dadiet (192-99) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. SOPCC (5-5) moved-up to eighth place in Group B, which they share with Andrezieux. Kaysersberg lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. SOPCC will meet at home Besancon (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. Kaysersberg will play against C'Chartres and hope to secure a win.
