Regular Season Round 10: Toulouse - Vitre 71-70

A very close game took place in Toulouse between Toulouse and Vitre. Fourth ranked Toulouse (7-3) got a very close home victory over 6th ranked Vitre (5-5). Toulouse managed to escape with a 1-point win 71-70 on Friday evening. Adrien Thimon (188-94) scored 19 points to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Ron Anderson Jr (203-89, college: S.Florida) chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Toulouse's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American center Kyle Tresnak (209-92, college: Weber St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and guard Matthieu Robin (184-92) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Toulouse moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Poitiers. Loser Vitre keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Stade Rochelais and Lourdes. Toulouse will meet league's leader Etoile Angers on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vitre will play against JSA Bordeaux (#14) and hope to secure a win.
