The most surprising game was the first loss of Tours (3-1) on the court of thirteenth ranked JA Vichy on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by JA Vichy 88-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tours. JA Vichy made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Georgian point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 assists. American forward Dominez Burnett (196-92, college: Davenport) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. JA Vichy's coach Guillaume Vizade used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jamaican Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (201-91, college: Lamar) replied with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard James Batemon (185-97, college: LMU) added 20 points in the effort for Tours. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. JA Vichy (2-2) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Newly promoted Tours keeps the third position with one game lost. They share it with Nancy and Chalon. JA Vichy is looking forward to face higher ranked Sluc Nancy (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tours will play against ASA and is hoping to win this game.
