Date: November 6, 2021
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Cholet (6-1) crushed at home 11th ranked Le Mans (3-4) 84-37 on Saturday. Cholet dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Le Mans' 26. Cholet forced 31 Le Mans turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Lucas Dufeal (204-3) who led the winners and scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mateo Valton (190-4) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Forward Raphael Djasrambaye (205-3) came up with 9 points and 5 rebounds and Lucas Veraghe (197-1) added 10 points respectively for Le Mans in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Cholet. They moved-up to third place. Le Mans lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with Gravelines and Roanne. Cholet will meet Monaco (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Le Mans will play against Strasbourg (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
