Regular Season Round 8: MBA Moscow - Dinamo V. 79-87

Dinamo V. has finally registered their first victory this season after seven consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked MBA Moscow (5-3) on the road game in Moscow 87-79. Dinamo V. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to MBA Moscow's 26. Dinamo V. forced 19 MBA Moscow turnovers. The winners were led by forward Vyacheslav Grachev (202-97) who scored that evening 19 points and 7 rebounds and center Daniil Solovev (211-87) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Dinamo V.'s coach Eduard Sandler used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by guard Daniil Kasatkin (200-99, college: Penn St.) did not help to save the game for MBA Moscow. Center Vladislav Sharapov (204-99) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Dinamo V. (1-7) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with Lok.Kuban and Ufimets Ufa. MBA Moscow at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
