Regular Season Round 11: Vitre - Bordeaux 91-73

There was no surprise when 14th ranked JSA Bordeaux (1-10) lost on the road to seventh ranked Vitre (6-5) 91-73 on Tuesday. Vitre dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to JSA Bordeaux's 30 and made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Vitre had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American center Kyle Tresnak (209-92, college: Weber St.) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Romain Gregoire (201-91) accounted for 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Five Vitre players scored in double figures. Madagascar point guard Kiady Razanamahenina (185-96) came up with 22 points and guard Alexandre Vialaret (192-94) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively for JSA Bordeaux in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vitre moved-up to sixth place in Group A, which they share with Lourdes. JSA Bordeaux lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Vitre will meet league's second-placed Rueil on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JSA Bordeaux will play against Poitiers (#3) and hope to win that game.
