Regular Season Round 8: Jazine - Kastela 64-66

The most exciting game of round 8 in the Prva Liga took place in Zadar. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked Jazine (2-5) to fourth ranked Kastela (6-2) 66-64 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Ante Delas (200-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Ivan Svalina (198-97) who added 18 points during the contest. Forward Antonio Sikiric (196-3) responded with 17 points and Ante Beljan (202-3) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Kastela moved-up to third place, which they share with Bosco. Jazine lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with five games lost. Kastela is looking forward to face league's leader H.Analitica in Zagreb in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jazine will play on the road against Samobor (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
