Regular Season Round 8: Huesca - Palma 83-65

Huesca has finally registered their first victory this season after seven consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Palma (1-7) 83-65. Huesca forced 19 Palma turnovers. The winners were led by American swingman Maverick Rowan (201-96, college: NC State) who scored that evening 14 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Ayoze Alonso (187-91) supported him with 14 points. Four Huesca players scored in double figures. Even 16 points by Argentinian Fausto Ruesga (199-0) did not help to save the game for Palma. Naturalized Bulgarian forward Konstantin Kostadinov (204-3) added 12 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Huesca left bottom position moving up to seventeenth place, which they share with defeated Palma. Huesca will play against higher ranked Palencia (#6) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Palma will play against Prat (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
