Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Rapid (2-5) was outscored by tenth ranked Dinamo B. (4-4) in Bucuresti 80-59 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo B.. Rapid managed to win fourth quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rapid 44-25 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dinamo B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Rapid's players. The winners were led by American Keith Clanton (206-90, college: UCF) who scored that evening 6 points and 19 rebounds and Serbian point guard Nenad Miljenovic (194-93, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by American forward Erik Copes (203-93, college: Z*Orangeville A's, agency: Inception Sports) did not help to save the game for Rapid. Canadian guard Jadon Cohee (193-96, college: UBC) added 13 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dinamo B. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ploiesti CSM. Newly promoted Rapid keeps the twelfth position with five games lost. Dinamo B. will meet bottom-ranked Miercurea Ciuc (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rapid will play against Targu Jiu (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
