Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Estonian TalTech (5-6) was outplayed on the road by top-ranked Latvian TTT Riga (8-0) 79-22 on Saturday. The game without a history. TTT Riga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TalTech to just 4 points in second and third quarters and to 10 points in first half. TTT Riga held TalTech to an opponent 15.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.3 percent accuracy of the winners. TTT Riga forced 27 TalTech turnovers and outrebounded them 52-28 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by TalTech's players. Guard Ieva Pulvere (172-90) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian center Daugile Sarauskaite (196-96) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Sofia Kosareva (170-98) with 4 points and 5 rebounds and Annika Koster (182-92) scored 6 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TTT Riga have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending Latvian champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Kibirkstis. Newly promoted TalTech dropped to the fifth place with six games lost.
