PBL top team - Dynamo Kursk (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Spartak Vidnoye (2-6) 79-56. They outrebounded Spartak Vidnoye 41-29 including 33 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of American point guard Arike Ogunbowale (173-97, college: Notre Dame) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Natasha Howard (190-91, college: FSU, agency: LBM Management) who added 18 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. International Daria Repnikova (180-0) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Polina Fedorova (189-95) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dynamo Kursk have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-0 record. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost. Dynamo Kursk will play against Dynamo NR (#6) in Novosibirsk in the next round where they are favorite. Spartak Vidnoye will play on the road against Rostov (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
