Regular Season Round 6: M.Haifa - Ramla 88-64

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked M.Haifa as it allowed them to take a leadership position. M.Haifa smashed 3rd ranked Ramla at home 88-64. M.Haifa dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ramla's 30. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for American Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor, agency: Shark Sports Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: SDSU) contributed with a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. M.Haifa's coach Omri Zirlin felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Emma Cannon (190-89, college: FSC) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Swedish guard Paulina Hersler (190-94, college: Florida) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ramla. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Ramla at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Ramat G.. Ramla will play next round against Petah Tikva trying to get back on the winning streak. M.Haifa will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Hertzeliya on the road.
