Regular Season Round 14: Pole France - Mulhouse 50-75

There was no surprise in Paris where 13th ranked CFBB (3-11) was crushed by third ranked Mulhouse (10-4) 75-50 on Friday. Mulhouse dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 22. They outrebounded CFBB 37-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. Mulhouse looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Spanish center Victor Serrano (210-89) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard William Mensah (175-95) chipped in 11 points and 4 steals during the contest. Point guard Rayan Rupert (196-4) responded with 17 points and guard Aurele Brena-Chemille (192-4) scored 7 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mulhouse moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Lyon CTC. CFBB lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Mulhouse will meet at home league's second-placed Lyon CTC in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CFBB will play against Kaysersberg (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
