They outrebounded Alcala 46-32 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Chema Gil (207-91) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Center Pablo Rodrigo (204-86) chipped in 7 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Alvaro Biersack (198-95) who recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds and forward Sergio Rodriguez (194-84) added 4 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Pozuelo maintains second position in Group B with 10-8 record having just nine point less than leader Lliria. Loser Alcala keeps the third place with four games lost. Pozuelo will meet at home CBSFDO (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
