Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Andorra and 12th ranked Obradoiro had identical 4-7 record. This time Andorra used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Santiago de Comp 86-73 on Saturday night. Andorra dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Obradoiro's 38. The winners were led by American point guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (191-94, college: Wake Forest) who scored that evening 9 points and 5 assists and Israeli guard Gal Mekel (192-88, college: Wichita St., agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 10 points and 5 assists. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by Lithuanian center Laurynas Birutis (213-97) did not help to save the game for Obradoiro. Loser Obradoiro dropped to the thirteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Burgos and Zaragoza. Andorra will meet higher ranked Breogan (#11) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Obradoiro will play against Valencia and hope to secure a win.
