Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked San Salvatore and 5th ranked Savona had identical 4-3 record. This time San Salvatore used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Savona 78-47 on Saturday night. They outrebounded Savona 43-32 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. San Salvatore looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Mounia El Habbab (186-94) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. San Salvatore's coach Roberto Fioretto felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
