Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Trelleborg (5-5) edged at home bottom-ranked AIK Basket (0-7) 81-78 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American guard Justin Tuckson (185-96, college: Clayton St.) fired 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Spanish forward Javier Medori (202-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Oliver Ehrnvall (203-96, college: St.Cloud St.) produced 29 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Turkish Erkan Inan (195-89) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four AIK Basket players scored in double figures. Trelleborg moved-up to sixth place. Loser AIK Basket still closes the standings with seven games lost. Trelleborg will meet higher ranked IK Eos (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. AIK Basket will play against Ockelbo (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
