Very predictable result when fifth ranked Mondragon (9-4) smashed at home 12th ranked Venta de Banos (4-9) 109-64 on Sunday. Mondragon made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 Venta de Banos turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Venta de Banos' players. The best player for the winners was swingman Andoni Acha (195-99) who scored 25 points. Guard Alex Lorenzo (188-94) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Mondragon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Gambian power forward Papa Njie (205-3) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Pablo Rodrigo (192-2) added 16 points respectively.
