Very expected game when 12th ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (4-6) was defeated on the road by first ranked Bayern Muenchen (8-2) 77-71 on Monday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bayern Muenchen outrebounded MLP Academics Heidelberg 35-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Serbian Vladimir Lucic (204-89, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Bosnian Nihad Djedovic (197-90, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Robert Lowery (188-87, college: Dayton) who recorded 12 points and the other American import power forward Brekkott Chapman (206-96, college: Weber St.) added 11 points respectively.
