There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Ramla (3-4) lost at home to eighth ranked Petah Tikva (3-4) 87-83. It was a great evening for American center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Kenisha Bell (175-94, college: Minnesota) helped adding 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side naturalized American Alyssa Baron (178-92, college: Pennsylvania) responded with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Emma Cannon (190-89, college: FSC) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Petah Tikva moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Ramla. Ramla lost third consecutive game. Petah Tikva will play against bottom-ranked Hertzeliya (#10) at home in the next round. Ramla will play against the league's second-placed Rishon LZ (#2) in Rishon Le-Zion and hopes to get back on the winning track.
