Regular Season Round 12: MBK Ruzomb. - Samorin 84-50

Extraliga top team - MBK (13-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Samorin (3-10) in Ruzomberok 84-50. MBK forced 22 Samorin turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of international forward Miroslava Prazenicova (184-97) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) and international guard Radka Stasova (169-97) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five MBK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized Polish center Bianka Vaigl (180-95) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Timea Sujova (172-84) scored 20 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MBK have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-0 record. Samorin lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. MBK will again play against Samorin (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Samorin will have a break next round.
