Regular Season Round 11: IK Eos - Trelleborg 99-118

There was a minor upset in Lund where 4th placed IK Eos (7-3) were crushed by sixth ranked Trelleborg (6-5) 118-99 on Thursday. Trelleborg dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to IK Eos' 36. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. It was a great evening for American guard Justin Tuckson (185-96, college: Clayton St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Karl Drammeh (203, college: E.Wyoming) helped adding 21 points and 10 rebounds. Five Trelleborg players scored in double figures. Guard David Niklasson (193-95, college: N.Platte CC) responded with 41 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. IK Eos' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Trelleborg moved-up to fifth place. Loser IK Eos keep the fourth position with three games lost. Trelleborg will meet at home league's second-placed KFUM Uppsala in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. IK Eos will play against Taby Basket and hope to secure a win.
