Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zaporizhye maintains seventh place with 9-9 record. Cherkasy at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Mykolaiv. Zaporizhye will play against league's second-placed Budivelnyk in Kyiv in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cherkasy will play at home against the league's leader Prometey (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
