Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Socuellamos (6-8) was defeated at home by third ranked Alcala (10-4) 83-75 on Saturday. Forward Carlos Unanue (193-0) scored 24 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Alvaro Biersack (198-95) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest.
