No shocking result in a game when thirteenth ranked ADA Blois (5-5) beat at home bottom-ranked SPO Rouen (2-8) 78-72 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. ADA Blois looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by SPO Rouen's players. American-British power forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: LeMoyne) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Thomas Cornely (190-91) supported him with 5 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by Serbian forward Djordje Simeunovic (200-95, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for SPO Rouen. American forward Brandon Edwards (198-91, college: UT Arlington) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Four ADA Blois and five SPO Rouen players scored in double figures. ADA Blois moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser SPO Rouen stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. They share it with Evreux. ADA Blois will meet higher ranked Olympique Antibes (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SPO Rouen will play against Saint Vallier (#13) and hope to secure a win.
