An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 4th ranked IK Eos in a game versus Taby Basket (#7) 106-93. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Taby Basket outrebounded IK Eos 49-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The winners were led by center Andre Nilsson (209-90) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and guard Hannes Widell (183-94) supported him with 21 points and 7 assists. Even 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists by guard Joel Svensson (185-96) did not help to save the game for IK Eos. Forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) added 17 points and 5 assists. Four Taby Basket and five IK Eos players scored in double figures. Taby Basket (6-5) moved-up to sixth place. IK Eos lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with four games lost. Taby Basket will meet Trelleborg (#7) on the road in the next round. IK Eos will play against Ockelbo and hope to secure a win.
