Regular Season Round 7: Mladost ZE - Rogaska 102-98

Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Slovenian Rogaska (1-6) lost to fourth ranked Serbian Mladost ZE (5-2) in Zemun 98-102 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Mladost ZE made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Strahinja Gavrilovic (206-93, college: USC) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 16-of-19 shooting from the field). Andrija Bojic (206-93) accounted for 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Ronald Jackson Jr (203-97, college: NC A&T) came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import guard Terry Armstrong (198-0, college: Arizona, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 21 points and 6 assists respectively for Rogaska in the defeat. Four Rogaska players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mladost ZE. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Siroki. Rogaska lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with Pelister. Mladost ZE will meet Pelister (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rogaska will play against Podgorica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
